Friends members only admission. To enter at 9 am, Friends memberships must be received by July 31, 2026. Friends memberships will be sold on Friday after the current members' line has entered the arena.

Open to the general public, $5 a bag day (most items). Standard plastic bag provided.
Free books for non-profits. All Non-Profit Organizations need to register before August 5. Sign up for Non-Profit Courtesy Shopping.
Please note: The Fair does not provide hand carts, boxes, or bags for moving materials.
Special Notes:
● Donations are not accepted at the Book Fair.
● Branches are not accepting donations July 4 through August 6.
● The warehouse at 224 Turner Blvd in St. Peters will not be accepting donations July 19 through August 21

The Book Fair will include a silent auction. The auction will be available online and in person via a QR code during the fair and will feature some of the more valuable items that were donated. The silent auction can also be viewed with the list of titles on this page, with the link to the bidding site at the bottom.
Volunteer shifts are available throughout the event, with varying needs each day and time. Spots fill quickly, but cancellations do happen, so check back often for newly available openings. Volunteers must be at least 12 years old.

All proceeds from the Book Fair are donated to the St. Charles City-County Library. Proceeds from the Book Fair and other fundraisers have been used to fund a wide variety of things, including the annual reading challenges, special author events, construction and expansion of new branches, the purchase of furniture & equipment for all libraries, outdoor classrooms for library branches, and monthly book discussion groups at branches throughout the County.
