This winter, we’re going for the gold during the Winter Challenge: Reading Olympics! We invite competitors of all ages to read for 600 minutes. Those who complete the challenge will receive a small prize and three entries to our grand prize drawing. Track your reading from January 2 to February 28 online or with a gameboard for a chance to win. Let's go for the gold! 

Competitors who complete 600 minutes win a small prize. Children can choose between a wearable gold medal or a shimmery Library sticker. Adults can choose a metal flag pin or a Library sticker.

Grand Prize Drawing 

For every 200 minutes of reading completed, participants will receive one entry into a drawing for one of two grand prizes. First prize package features a Texas Roadhouse basket with peanuts, seasonings, sauce, and a $40 gift certificate, along with a gift card to Main Street Books. The second prize package is from Chicken N Pickle and includes a gift certificate for one hour of court time, four paddle and ball rentals, and two appetizers, along with a gift card to Main Street Books.
