St. Charles County, MO - The St. Charles City-County Library announced an official open date for the temporary Mid Rivers Mall Branch. This location, opening January 22, will provide continuity of Library service during the Spencer Road and Middendorf Kredell renovations.
The space is located on the second floor of Mid Rivers Mall near Dillard’s. This branch will offer a small browsing collection, holds pickup, book drop, access to public computers, public WiFi, classes & events for adults, teens, and children, and will provide printing & copying services.
“By opening this temporary new location, we reiterate our commitment to providing seamless service to our customers and also welcoming new ones who might not know what all the Library has to offer,” said Jason Kuhl, Chief Executive Officer.
The Mid Rivers Mall Branch will host recurring events for the community including:
- Family Storytime on Mondays and Thursdays at 10:30 am
- Where’s Waldo Wednesday (all day)
- Board Game Nights on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month at 5 pm
- Plant Swaps on the second Saturday of each month at 11 am
The public is invited to attend a Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening celebration February 7, 2024 at 10:30 am.
