What is Ask Us

Need more time with a library staff member than you can get over the phone or if you just walk in? Schedule an Ask Us Appointment.

Ask Us is a one-on-one session with a staff member tailored to meet your specific information needs. The Ask Us service is available at most Library Branches, and appointments are usually 45 minutes long.

What kind of help can I get?

We can help with all different kinds of technology questions about your tablet, eReader, phone or laptop.

  • Getting started
  • Setting up an email account
  • Sending group emails
  • Recording a video and sharing it with friends
  • Organizing and backing up files
  • Downloading and using apps

We can also teach you how to use Library databases to:

  • Create resumes
  • Start your family tree
  • Prepare for college entrance exams
  • Research businesses
  • Download legal forms and more

Want a guided tour of the branch? We can do that too!

Please note: We cannot offer advice (e.g., medical, legal, investment) except to advise users of reputable sources of evaluative information.
