The St. Charles City-County Library is partnering with Sts. Joachim & Ann Care Service to help meet the needs of local families by serving as drop-off locations for food donations throughout November.
Bins are located at each branch to collect non-perishable food donations from the community through November 30. The Care Service has provided a list of Most-Needed Items to help ensure that donations best meet the current needs of local families.
“By partnering with The Care Service, we hope to make it easier for our community to help our neighbors in need, especially as we move into the holiday season,” said, John Greifzu Library CEO. “Every donation will make a difference.”
With the support of the community, The Care Service Food Pantry served over 2,100 individuals and 800 families in 2024. Two food pantries, along with a Mobile Food Pantry, help distribute to those in need.
